So they say, though I’m not really sure who the “they” is. So I’m joining them- the bloggers that is. As someone who truly enjoys the median of writing, I’m leaving my conservative traditions behind, well the writing ones anyways. You see, I was that girl who thought that the only true works of art came in the printed form. Then I thought what would Shakespeare or Chaucer have done with the internet? Surely those men who weren’t afraid to take risks in the name of great literature would have been bloggers. It’s time to leave my preconceived notions behind. I mean it is 2008 and does anyone besides me actually go to the library anymore? I think I’ll give this a try. Otherwise, I might be the only person left sitting at a desk with pen and paper.
